Q: How long does replacing a roof typically take?

Installation times may vary depending on the size and complexity of the roofing system. When installing a shingled roof, the typical installation takes one to two days.

Q: Do we have to be out of the house when you are replacing the roof?

You are welcome to remain in your home during the roof replacement, but it is not required.

Q: How do you calculate the amount of shingles I will need for my roof?

We utilize a precise, third party measurement report to ensure accuracy when ordering the roof materials for your home.

Q: Why is my roof discolored?

Over time, shingles on older roofs can become streaked/discolored by algae or lichen. The shingles that are manufactured today have streak fighting agents such as copper particles embedded into the body of the shingle to prevent or slow the growth process. Copper possesses natural anti-algae properties, and the copper is gradually released over time to provide long term protection.

Q: What kind of ventilation can I use on my roof?

We utilize various forms of ventilation based on the structure of the home. The end result will provide efficient, well balanced air flow to ensure proper ventilation is achieved.

Q: My shingles were damaged in a storm, what is the turn time to fix this?

Storm damage can happen when high winds and/or hail impacts a roofing system. Depending on the severity, hail and wind damage is a covered peril under your homeowners insurance policy. We are very adept at helping you navigate the insurance claims process.
